It’s hard to believe both Audrey and Lanc are  now together in spirit only. We will have frequent fond memories of them as time goes by.

I am just seeing this now (August 2021) - I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Audrey - she was such a lovely woman and so good to me the many years that she was my mother in law - I have missed her so much in the years that the family has not been in my life - she was truly a nice lady and did everything for her family - I’m sure she has created a huge hole in everyone’s lives that she touched. 

I hope you’ve found comfort in the fact that she lived her life completely on her own terms and that she lived a good long life - it’s all anyone can hope for - she touched my life in a positive way and I thank her for that

I recently heard of Audrey's passing and I am so very sorry.   When we lived on Shirley Street she always livened up our parties & we had so much fun.      I know she will be missed terribly by you and your children & grandchildren but also by the many friends she has made over the years.  Please accept my  sincerest sympathy at this sad time.

What a shock to learn of this lovely, vivacious lady's passing. We go a long way back - to the days in the Brentwood apartments! Quiet neighbours in those apartments!

Lanc, I send my sincere condolences for your terrible loss. But Audrey will always be there in spirit for you and her memory will always be in your heart. The pain will get less (I know, I've been there) but it never goes away.

Audrey and Lanc our true friends of 60yrs.  Audrey a lady and loyal friend, Lanc a man of faith and of the highest integrity.  60yrs of memories  speak for themselves. Audrey was a great friend for too many years to count. While Naval Service often kept us apart it also brought us together in places as diverse as Victoria, Halifax, San Diego, Cornwallis, Ottawa and Belgium. Audrey was always a fun-loving free spirit who never hesitated to express her opinion, but always cared for all of us. She certainly will be missed, but she lived a long life well, and we regret her passing, but now she is in a better place.

We were so pleased to have seen Bob and Audrey last summer on our visit to Halifax and so surprised to learn of her passing so soon after that visit.    Our sympathy goes to Bob and family for this large loss.   Audrey was full of life and such a craftsman.  Her legacy goes on in the children and grandchildren and in all those "made by hand" items she accomplished.   Our prayers are with you all at this difficult time.    God bless. Bob so sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. I very fondly remember Audrey at a time when I was fortunate enough to sail as a member of the HMCS Margaree Wardroom. It was a great ship and crew at  a pivotal time in my early naval career and recall the many great opportunities we had to socialize. My deepest condolences from Cathy and I to the Lancashire family, may she Rest in Peace.
