

Comeau, Brian Gerald, age 57, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2014 at the VG Hospital, Halifax, after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 23, 1956 in Halifax and living at Whites Lake. He was a son of the late Antoine and Bernice Comeau.
Brian worked over 20 years as a Sprinkler Fitter with Scotia Sprinkers and DND Halifax. Brian loved anything that involved being around his son, Jamie, and his dog, Willie. Brian loved hunting with Stewart, Cathy and the guys. He loved long drives with Cathy while enjoying his favorite Tims. He also enjoyed spending time with Larry and Ruby Ann having coffee around the fire and boating.
Brian is survived by his loving wife Cathy (Collier) and his beloved only son, Jamie (Kala). Brother-in-law Larry (Ruby Ann) and father-in-law Bob Collier, all of Halifax. He is also survived by brothers; John and Darrell; sisters, Diane, Yvonne, Annette and Sharon and families.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Wayne and Edward and mother-in-law, Doris Collier.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home at 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax, (455-0531) where visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with prayers at 8 pm.
Special thank you to Kim McGrath for her compassion and kindness while Brian was in hospital and also special thanks to John Finck for all his cab rides, coffee and compassion.
