

Brian was a long time native of Fairview, who sought many adventures travelling the globe. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved camping, kayaking and hiking. Brian was an avid sports fan, always cheering on his hockey team, The Montreal Canadiens.
Brian was an employee of Hope Cottage and will be remembered for his outspoken charm, warm smile and happy go lucky personality. Even with his recent diagnosis of ALS, Brian kept an optimistic outlook on life and chose to live each day to the fullest. He never complained and enjoyed every moment with his friends and loved ones.
Brian will be greatly missed by the love of his life, Denise, who was by his side in his final moments. His step-daughter, Shannon (Darrell) Dartmouth, NS. Brian maintained a natural fatherly love for his step-daughter Shannon in which they shared a special bond along with his grandsons, Cullen and Riley; step-son, Shawn (Jasmine) Halifax; sisters, Sharon Hall (Tony) Cornwall, ON, Sandy Marson (Tony) Sackville, NS; brother, Danny Parsons (Kim) Hammonds Plains, NS.; daughter, Shelby Courtney, BC. Brian was predeceased by his mother, Eileen (Coady) and father, Robert Parsons and nephew, Jordon. Brian will be missed by many nieces and nephews, Sarah Katie, Codi, Ashley, Lindsay, Brandon and Jonathan, great friends, colleagues and his long time best friend, Eric Newman.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering on Monday, June 11, 2018, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at J. A. Snow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ALS Society of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
