Carl Willoughby Sanford, age 89, passed away peacefully at Grand View Manor, Berwick, NS, on October 1, 2024. Born in Massachusetts, USA, on July 24,1935, Carl was the son of the late Carl and Louise (Turner) Sanford.
Carl is survived by his children, Deborah (James), Randy (Christina), Cammie (Bob), Elizabeth (Steve), and Carlene, as well as eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his sisters Mary, Virginia and Beverly.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Donald and grandson Ronnie.
Cremation has taken place at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Halifax, NS. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
