Carol Ann Bennett

Carol Ann had a career in real estate management, retiring from Manulife Financial. A childhood figure skater and ice dancer with her brother Bill, those memories would always bring a smile. She had a passion for golf, travel and sailing with her loving husband Barry Bennett (1951-2023).

She is survived by siblings William (Bill), Alan and Kate Ashby-Craft and their families. Mother to James (Diane), Kristina and David (Denyse) and Grandy to Caitlin Stein, Christie Nicoll, Nicholas and Michael Stead, Teia Nicoll and great granddaughter Sofia Stein.

Carol Ann loved to entertain, whether family or her dear friends in Waverley, at the house that she and Barry built and lived in until his passing. Her granddaughters will always remember the sleepovers and tea parties. Dogs were always a part of Carol Ann and Barry’s lives, fondly remembering Shaughnessy and Maggie Rose. She cherished the friendship of the “Elmridge” gang and lifelong pal Elizabeth.

She was a devoted volunteer at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Fall River.

The family would like to thank the staff of the 7A Palliative unit for their care and kindness.
