Carol Jean Reid

Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Helena Zinck (Cleary). She was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Kenneth Reid, and her sister Marilyn.

She was employed with the Nova Scotia Power Corporation for 28 years.

Above all else came her family, including her dog "Minnie".

She is survived by her daughters Cathy (Brian) Hfx, Lynn (Dave) NB, Debbie (Eldon) Hfx. , and her son Kenny of Hfx.

Grandchildren Linda, Buffy, Mark, Jonathan, Angela, Michael, Kaitlyn and Latesha. Two great grandchildren, Alexa and Emma.

She is also survived by her brother Jackie, and sisters Gail and Sandie.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax, NS Funeral Service will be held in St. Timothys Anglican Church, 2320 Prospect Road, Hatchet Lake on Saturday, June 27th at 1 pm. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, West Dover.

A celebration of her life will follow immediately at the home of Linda LeBlanc, 6793 Prospect Road, West Dover.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bide Awhile Animal Shelter.
