Dear Pat - I remember your mother and father as being such sweet people.  I remember the time they took me on vacation with you to Pictou - on the way home your Mum left her purse in a restaurant and your father had to pull the trailer back 20 miles to get it.  Boy were they fuming.  But other than that your father whistled, and your mother sang, the entire way, and it was a wonderful time.  You and your brothers were truly blessed. So sorry to hear about your mom.  I have fond memories growing up next door to all of you. Your mom was always so kind and caring.  Our parents loved their card games at each other homes. May you find peace knowing she lived such a full life.

I met you briefly when you were in town visiting your mom in September as my mother Anne is also at Evan Hall. I wanted you to know that I saw her on the last Saturday with my mom. They were enjoying the music and dancing to Louis Armstrong and she was happy, smiling and pleasant as usual. She will always be remembered as a gentle soul. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that you and your family find peace.

To the family of Joyce ~  I am a Saint John Ambulance volunteer at Evan Hall who visited Joyce on Friday mornings with my dog Zena.  Joyce always enjoyed our visits and we often sang "How Much is That Doggie in the Window" a delightful lady with a remarkable smile and spirit ~ each happiness of yesterday is a memory of tomorrow!
