Clara Margaret O'leary

O’ Leary, Clara Margaret – Halifax, passed away peacefully in Northwood Centre on November 29, 2010. Born in Dartmouth, August 2, 1908, she was the only daughter of Charles William and Mary Ellen Roach. She was a long time member of Saint Joseph’s Parish on Russell Street. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her parents and beloved husband Charles. She was also predeceased by brothers, Arthur, Frederick, Norbett and Milton.

She is survived by daughter Jean (David) Carter, son Wayne (Linda) O’Leary. Also surviving is her granddaughter Colleen (Glen) Scheuer, grandsons Kevin (Melanie) Halifax, and Gregory, Ottawa and her precious great-granddaughter Emma Scheuer, Halifax.

Visitation will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., on Thursday, December 2nd, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Normandy Drive, on Friday, December 3rd, at 10 a.m., Father Gerald David officiating. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Many thanks to the staff on the Transitional Unit 4A at the VG Hospital, and a heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff on 8th Floor, Northwood Centre for the compassion and kindness shown to our mother during her stay at Northwood.
