Constance Shirley Vaughan

She was born to the late Orland Benjamin Weston and the late Kathleen Isabelle Weston (McKinnon) the 20th of July 1936.

She Married the late Charles Bernard Vaughan, the 5th of October 1974. They lived together in the North end of Halifax for 42 years. Connie is survived by a brother Earl Weston, Sister in-law Sybil Weston and one daughter Constance (Connie) Andrews, of Halifax. She is also survived by two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; along with their children/grand children. Connie was predeceased by her husband in 2016, her sister Edna MacNeil (1974), a nephew Daniel Weston (1985) and a grandchild Eric Andrews (1992).

Connie was an active member in St. Joseph’s Church after retiring from Eaton’s as a sales clerk in 1987. Connie enjoyed digging in the dirt gardening, both vegetables and flowers. She would watch the birds and butterflies in and around her yard. Who could forget Lefty the crow?

Connie enjoyed feeding all that came through her door, even sending sugar cookies far and wide. She enjoyed watching people be happy and having fun! She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Visitation will be on Thursday the 10th of August 2023 at 10 am - 12 pm at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive. The Service and Burial will take place at 12:30 pm at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Lower Sackville, NS.
