Born and raised in Halifax, David last worked as a Safety Trainer for Cat Rental. He enjoyed teaching motorcycle safety as well and eventually was able to devote full-time to riding and the open road especially with the “Iron-Horse” riders on Sundays. He enjoyed playing hockey with the Old-Timers Prospect Road Hockey League, going out to fish, hunting, 4-wheeling or just spending time outdoors with his dog, Rusty. Weekends would find him at the camp for some R&R or together with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Kelly (Fraser); brothers Frank (Cheryle) and John (Judy) of Edmonton; nieces and nephews Julie, Shane, Michael and Steven.
Visitation will be held at J. A. Snow’s Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS from 12 – 2 pm on Saturday, May 18 with memorial service to follow at 2 pm. Burial to be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society. Sincerely thank you to dear friend Craig, the Fraser family for the love and support shown both in and out of the hospital, nurses and staff at 8.2 at the QEII, and Dr’s Andrew, Rockwood, and Tina McNamara.
