David Andrew Wiley

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dave Wiley announce his passing after a long battle with cancer. Dave passed away on November 25, 2023 at home with his wife and daughter by his side. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend Cathy, and his daughter Rebecca (Zeyad), who was and always will be his pride and joy; brother Rodney, sister Lynn (Steve), mother-in-law Ann, sisters-in-law Geraldine (Greg), Donna Marie (Joey), brothers-in-law, Gerard (Geraldine), Allan (Mary) and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. We can’t forget his loyal four legged friend, Sarge, who never left his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Marguerite and Frank Wiley, sister-in-law Ida and father-in-law Alfred Touesnard. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Dave worked in the printing industry for over 40 years, ending his career at Atlantic Digital Reproductions. He was a quiet person with a strong work ethic and a witty sense of humor. He formed wonderful friendships with his co-workers over the years.

Dave enjoyed watching TikTok and sports on tv with Sarge by his side and going to hockey games. He was very proud and excited to have gotten to attend a Toronto Maple Leafs game with Rebecca last year.

Dave’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mary O’Neill, Dr. Jeyakumar, the Palliative Care team and all the medical staff for their compassionate care. We would also like to send a special thank you to our wonderful friends and family for their kindness and support.

Visitation will take place on Saturday December 2, 2023 from 1-4pm in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax.
