Dianne Margaret Woods, age 62 of Lakeside, NS, passed away September 17, 2013 at home, surrounded by her family. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth Myra. She worked at the QEII in the Food Services for 35 years and loved four-wheeling, boating and spending the weekends at her camp. Survived by her husband of 42 years, Murdock Woods; daughter, Kelly (Howard) Peterson, Lewis Lake NS; son, Peter Woods (Barbara Anderson), Lakeside NS; grandchildren, Haley, Morgan, Jessica; sisters, Ilean (Brian) Dempsey, Creston BC, Marie (Danny) Duggan, New Ross, NS, Freda (George) Casey, Lakeside, Wendy (Patrick) Woods, Timberlea, NS, Geraldine Trimmings (Kevin Richards), Halifax, Helen (Paul) Baxter, Fort McMurray, AB, Sherry Fiset (Paul), Halifax, NS; brothers, Alfred Jr. (Carol) Myra, Lakeside, NS, Steven Myra, Lakeside NS as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Myra. Funeral services will be held in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, (455-0531) on Saturday, September 21 at 10:00 am.
