Donna Anne Currie

She was the daughter of late parents Harold and Anne (Matheson) French. Donna is survived by loving husband of 59 years, Glenn, daughters Linda (Mike) , Nancy (Philip), Wanda , who we welcomed into our family, brother Kenneth (Maxine) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brother Ronald (Cynthia).

The family wishes to acknowledge the special care Donna received from the IWK Women’s Wellness Centre and the Cancer Care team under Nova Scotia Health Authority. Also to acknowledge the compassionate care provided by the doctors and nurses on the 8 th floor of the VG, Centennial Building.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral services to be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Monday September 15, 2025 with reception to follow. Internment to follow at a later date.

Donna will be remembered as a kind and caring person.

Mum was a “ stay at home mom”, but always had time to volunteer in the school system as an assistant teacher and also as a secretary at various churches over the years.

In memory of Donna , the family would appreciate everyone perform an act of kindness among us each day.
