Douglas Alexander Pudsey

Passed away peacefully on January 23, 2018, with his family at his side. Born in Kentville, NS, on May 4, 1953, he was the son of the late Lawrence Eli and Norma (Halliday) Pudsey.

Doug graduated from Quebec High School in Quebec City and went on to attend Acadia University in Wolfville, NS, where he met his future wife, Lynn. Doug loved golf, coaching his two sons in hockey, salmon fishing on the Skeena River, and spending summers in Chester Basin at the cottage. His greatest joy was spending time with friends and family, especially his two grandsons, Jack and Jay.

Survived by his loving wife, Lynn Ross; sons, Michael (Renee McKinstry) and Alexander (Janna Crossman); grandsons, Jack and Jay; brothers, Charles (Rhonda Johnson), Eric, Alexander (Kellie); sisters, Dorothy Richert (Ken), Linda Bezanson (the late Buzz); brother in law, Donald Ross, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and brother, Leslie Corey.

Visitation will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. on Saturday, January 27, from 2-4 pm. A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held on Sunday, January 28, at 2:00 pm from J.A. Snow Funeral Home.
