Elaine Leah Pritchard

Born July 6,1939 in Halifax she was the youngest child of the late Ernest and Marion(Ward) Morton.

She was predeceased by brothers Carl, Jock and Lorne (Joan). Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Jack, sister Grace (Harry), daughters Heather (Louis), Susan (Marcus) son Ted (Sandra); granddaughters Danielle, Melanie, Alice and Charlotte; great grandchildren Andre, Ameera ,Terrance and Jaylen.

She will be remembered for her headstrong nature (she was the one who proposed to Jack) incredible cookies and baked goods- especially at Christmas (and occasionally hidden in the freezer labelled “seal flippers” to keep curious children away) her thoughtful gifts and cards (she never missed a birthday) her love of animals, her contagious excitement at Christmas and her devotion to Jack.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date .
