Born in Upper Tantallon, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Ephraim and Dorothy (Boutilier) Hurshman.
She loved the outdoors and travel in her younger years.
Ena is survived by son Robert (Bobby) of Ont., sisters Lorna Marriott and Dorothy Ashford, both of Halifax; brothers Harvey and Norman, both of Halifax; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert, brother Guy, and sisters Ellsie, Jean, and Hillie.
There will be no visitation by request. Cremation to take place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531. A graveside service will be held at CampHill Cemetery on Tuesday, June 28th at 2 p.m.
