Family was an integral part of Evelyne’s life. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Evelyne and her late husband, Ramiz Haddad, immigrated to Canada in 1974. Together they worked hard operating Haddads’ Convenience to provide a humble living for her family.
Evelyne lived her life to the fullest. She loved to travel the world and experience what different cultures had to offer. Evelyne loved cooking and was known in the community for her delicious Lebanese sweets and strong pots of Lebanese coffee. She also enjoyed dedicating her time to serving at St. Antonios Church.
She is predeceased by her husband, Ramiz Haddad, and her brothers Michel Mansour and Dr. Mansour Mansour. She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Camille Haddad (Dawn) and Ghassan Haddad (Hind), her three cherished grandchildren, Nadine (Anthony) Rizk, Camille Haddad, and Nicholas Haddad, and her sisters, Janette Diab, Odette Abdel-Massih, Loubana Melhem, and Marie Khoury. She will be missed dearly by all.
Visitation will be held at J. A Snow funeral home on Sunday, September 4th, 2022, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A mass at St. Antonios Orthodox Church will be held in her honour on September 5th, 2022, at 11 AM, officiated by Archpriest Maximos Saikali. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Antonios building fund.
