Born in Ecum Secum in 1946, he was predeceased by his parents, Allister and Winnie Davidson; brother, Daryl, sister, Diane. He is survived by his daughter, Wandlyn (Ron), Fredericton, NB; sons, Wade, Sydney, NS and Ross (Sarah), Halifax; sisters, Vivian (Irving), Halifax, Myra, Mississauga, ON; brother, Merle (Pauline), Marie Joseph, NS; granddaughters, Cassidy, Fredericton, NB and Sadie, Halifax, and many extended family.
Special thanks to Helen Davidson, who offered Gary so much support during his illness, his friend, Ed Laybolt, who drove him to his many appointments, and to the doctors and nurses at QEII, Heart Function Clinic.
Visitation will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902-455-0531) on Monday, October 13, 2014, from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, October 14 from 1-2 pm at St. Barnasbas Anglican followed bya service and interment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.
