Glenna Claire Slaunwhite (Sanford) – 80, of Terence Bay passed away Feb. 10, 2012 in the QEII. Born in Providence, Rhode Island she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Gladys(Canning) Sanford. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Rufus Slaunwhite. She is survived by her brother Rodney (Mary) Sanford, Windsor, her daughters Heather (Fred Tucker) Slaunwhite, Brookside, Wanda (Mike) Ryan, Prospect Bay, Leanne (Joe Wright) Slaunwhite, Halifax, Sherri (Karl) Crowe, Prospect Bay, Andrea (Darrin) Snyder, Carberry, Man., eight grandchildren, Angela, Craig, Shaun, Dale, Tracy, Sandi, Dalton and Brandon, six great grandchildren, Pat, Chris, Cody, Colton, Logan and Noel. She retired from Sears after many years of employment. Mom loved to read, knit, do jigsaw and crossword puzzles and play pogo games on her computer. Special thanks to Cathy (Ancil) Slaunwhite for her special care and friendship. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses on 8-4 North for their support. Cremation has taken place.
