It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Greg, age 48 on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 following a stroke, surrounded by Suzanne, his family and friends.

Greg graduated from Holland College in 1990 and began his lifelong policing career with the Middleton Police Department before moving on to Bedford Police in 1993. He then joined Halifax Regional Police at amalgamation in 1996. He was recently seconded by the RCMP to CISNS.

Greg grew up in Halifax and loved sports, fishing, his dogs, the peace and tranquility of home where he loved to cook and barbeque for everyone while enjoying a cold one and a good laugh.

He will be sorely missed by his beloved Suzanne; Mother, Donna (Kim); Sister, Denise (Andrew), family, many friends and his police family. He was predeceased by his Father, Raymond.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6th, 2015 at 11:00 am in St. Agnes Church, 6903 Mumford Road, Halifax with a reception in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
