Hazel Mary French

Born in Harbour Breton NL, she was the daughter of Charlie and Alice Hardiman.

Hazel lived in Grandbank NL and came to Halifax during World War II.

Her family celebrates her life. To live to 105 is a great accomplishment if not for breaking a few bones here and there. Her family all loved her and will miss her dearly.

She is pre-deceased by her husband George Robert French and sisters Jane, Bess, Freda and John. Hazel is survived by her daughters Freda, Shirley, Gloria and Margaret and son Stephen, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday May 21, 2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and a funeral service will take place on Thursday May 22, 2025 at 10:00 am, both to take place in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS. Burial in Fairview Lawn Cemetery, Windsor St., Halifax following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
