

Ivis Wilson, age 94, formally of Lower Sackville passed away on May 9, 2013 at Parkstone Enhanced Care in Clayton Park. Born in Woodstock, NB, Ivis eventually settled in Saint John where she raised two children and was employed as a telephone operator and later as a product demonstrator at Dominion stores. In 1981 she moved to Lower Sackville to spend her retirement years with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Lona (David) Stilwell, Lower Sackville; son Terry, New Jersey; beloved grandsons Chris (Cynthia) Stilwell, Lower Sackville and Terry Brockway, Cape Breton; great-grandchildren Andrew, Hannah, Ethan, Jesse, Nathan and Kristina. She was predeceased by brother Hollis Cluff, Florenceville, NB.
A funeral service for family and close friends will be held on Wednesday May 15 at 2pm at St. Francis by the Lakes Church in Lower Sackville. Archdeacon Mark Kingsbury officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
The family would like to say special thanks to all the marvelous staff at Parkstone who have cared for Ivis through the years. Your compassion and kindness will never be forgotten.
