Jacquelyn Diann LaRiviere

Jackie was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family, friends and pets.

Jackie had many passions outside of her family. As a member of the Nova Scotia Songwriters Association, Jackie loved writing songs of love and children. She also had a passion for art and loved to draw sketches of people, as well as building bird houses for all her feathered friends that visited her home.

Jackie is predeceased by her mother, Helen Louise (Bauer) Loye; father, James “Donald” Loye; sister, Muriel Cowie (Sam); nephew, Kenneth; and the father of her daughters Joseph Rudolph “Rudy” LaRiviere.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Michelle Jacquelyn Gibbons (K Stephen) and Christiana Louise LaRiviere (Joe); grandchildren, Alyssa (Kyuho), Sam, Isabella, and Tyler; great grandchildren Oliver and Elena, and her beloved pup Maggie Mae.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 1-3pm in JA Snow Funeral Home
