

Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Jerry had a lifelong passion for the outdoors and a strong work ethic that shaped every part of his life. For more than 36 years, he proudly served as a Halifax Transit driver, known for his kindness, quick wit, and an easy smile that brightened the days of countless passengers.
Never one to sit still, Jerry took pride in keeping busy. He was happiest when working in his yard, fixing or repurposing his treasures, travelling in his trailer, or dreaming up his next adventure. Known for his determination and spirited personality, Jerry lived life on his own terms and made friends everywhere he went.
Jerry will be forever loved and remembered by his wife, Vicki; children, Joe (Dinah) and Sherry Forester (Jason); and grandchildren, Colette, Rebekah, Madeline, and Conrad. He is also survived by his brother John and sister Sharon Rhynold. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Anne Dunn, and sister Shirley Bowser.
The memory of Jerry and the many quirky stories that made him unforgettable will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 29th at 2:00pm at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Jerry’s memory to Friends of Keji Cooperating Association.
