Murray, Joan Mildred (Evans) R.N.- 84, of Hubley, passed away on February 28, 2025 at the QE II Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred Evans. Joan is survived by her husband, Allan Murray; children, Keir, Evan (Kim) and Carla; grandchildren, Emma, Eliza, and Elan; and great grandchildren, Jaden and Rory. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Roger Evans.
Joan was a nurse at the IWK and managed the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit at the Grace. Before retirement, Joan was Hospital Administrator at the Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital. She had a great love of animals and volunteered with the SPCA and fostered many dogs throughout her life.
