John led us on several great musical events - Windsor, NYC, our blues band and I will be forever grateful.  RIP Johnny.

So sorry to hear of John’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with John over the years in Canadian healthcare. He was a strong leader and a pleasure to work with. He will be missed. 

John was my "brother from another mother" .  He had my back at every turn, gave me the opportunity to attend my favourite concerts, laid on some incredible parties in Toronto  and in his Bay home.  Perhaps one of my favourite memories was when he showed up dressed as a limo driver, and chauffeured us to and from our wedding, complete with champagne  . I will miss you always my brother and friend. The world was a better place for having you in it.  Tell Hendrix I said hi! 

Dear John. I am so sorry that I did not get to tell you how much you meant to me. Working together for over 25 years as you groomed me to be a better consultant and encouraged all of those around you to challenge the status quo in health care. You are responsible for my career in healthcare- You were my friend first, my mentor, confidant and I viewed you as a brother. You will always be in my heart - thank you for everything you did for me. 

My deepest sympathies to you Bernadette and to John's family as well.  John was a kind and gentle soul and I am saddened to hear of his sudden passing.  It was my absolute pleasure to work for John for over 25 years.  He will most certainly be missed.

John was a fantastic business partner whom I had the good fortune and pleasure to work closely with over a number of years. His sense of humour, love of cars, motorcycles, music and good beer and wine won’t ever be forgotten. It was  a pleasure to have spent time with him professionally and personally. My deepest sympathies to his family and close friends, may he Rest In Peace.

. We spent summers at are family  home & many wonderful  Christmas  he was always kind & generous  his loving partner for 35yers. I am guilty of bringing  her home from work to meet my mother. I told John to comb his hair & come over.bern& I worked together  john& Ben hit off immediately. He asked to borrow my car. Laid ok didn't see the car for two days.i am very sad at a tremendous  loss so early. He s with his loving family  God s grace & will

Garry and I would like to extend sincerest sympathy to Bernadette and John's family. It was with shock and sorrow that we learned of his passing. So sudden and far too soon. 

Life has an interesting way of twisting and turning. I met Bernadette in the 90s in Toronto, where we shared our talents to create and share a brand image for then newly regulated medical laboratory technologists of Ontario. Not too long afterwards, I moved to Nova Scotia to establish a new home and a consulting business, finding myself crossing paths with John. I only had the pleasure to work closely with him on one project, when his knowledge proved invaluable; but I took advantage of having his contact information and sought advice on a number of other occasions. He was indeed highly respected in healthcare circles across Canada. His innovative thinking and mathematical skills, combined to convince administrators to transform the way healthcare is delivered. 

When John and Bernadette bought their beautiful home on St Margaret's Bay, it was a homecoming for her and a new sanctuary for him to return to after long hard days away working on projects. He deserved to have many more years to enjoy time with his beloved dogs and of course with Bernadette in this idyllic location. He had it set up to suit his special interests and we will always remember the guitar display in the recreation room, his pride and joy! 

We will always regret not taking time out of our busy lives to have spent more time together. 

Helen Keller said it well   “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” 

May your love give you strength and memories of happy times prevail over the sadness.

John was a good friend and someone I worked with both as a client and a fellow management consultant specializing in healthcare. John made significant contributions in the areas of utilization management and case costing and I will miss the fact that we won’t meet again for a beer and chew the fat on healthcare.

John:  At birth, we boarded the train of life.
As time went  by, some significant people boarded the train:
Many stepped  down and left  a permanent vacuum.
Others went  unnoticed, and we didn't  realize that they vacated their seats!  This train ride has been a mixture of joy,  sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells.
The mystery that prevails is that we do not know at
which station we ourselves will step down.
John you traveled along this track in the best possible way -
loving, forgiving, giving, and sharing.
When you stepped down and left your seat empty,
you left behind so many beautiful memories for
those of us who continue to travel on the train of life. 
I thank our Creator for giving us life, to participate on this journey.

I am so very very sorry to hear of John's passing. This is John from hamtramck now living in Port Hope a good friend of Jackie's.
