Judy worked in a bank until having children at which time she stayed home to care for her children. In 1980 she opened a craft and sewing supply store. She loved sewing, knitting and crafts so this was a perfect fit.
Judy and Barrie had opportunities to journey to many parts of the world together by air, land and sea and shared countless joyful experiences. Judy’s grandchildren and great grandchild were her pride and joy. Her heart glowed whenever she spent time with any of them.
Judy spent many hours volunteering as she enjoyed helping others. She is also a Beta Sigma Phi Sorority member and truly loved all her sorority sisters. Judy moved to Bedford in 2020 and met many new friends in her community. Judy kept busy enjoying activities and events in and around her new home. She loved to shop for clothes and always dressed impeccably – she was happy. Her laugh was contagious and could always light up a room.
Judy is survived by her son Gary( Charlene ) of Cleveland, Ohio, her daughter, Carol of Halifax; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Michael ( Farrah ), Adam and Christopher and her great grandson, Caleb. She was predeceased by her youngest daughter, Linda, and her husband, Barrie.
