I went to Pharmacy school with Kareen and although I haven’t seen her for over 25 years I will always picture her with her beautiful smile. She was a lovely lady and my heart goes out to all. Peace to her entire family.

 I had the pleasure and the privilege to work with Kareen for a couple of years.  She will always keep a special place in my heart.  She was such a beautiful person. Always ready to help, to listen and to be present to everyone. Her zest for life, her smile and laughter were very contagious. For many years i worked as a consultant for Seniors Mental Health Services at Oeanview Manor.
Kareen was a wonderful  collaborative professional.  She shared her knowledge and taught me much, she sought our advice and adapted practice to best meet her clients needs.   It was a delight to work with her ; i tried to arrange my visits to be there when she was to share time and work with  her.
I did not know her outside work and can only imagine the loss and pain you, her family , are experiencing.
Just wanted to pass along my very strong , positive memory of a wonderful woman

My sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful lady who was loved by all. I had the pleasure of working along side Kareen at Ocean View. She always showed up dressed to perfection with her suitcase of work not far behind her. All of us at Ocean View had the pleasure of getting to know her during her visits here, especially at the nursing station desk where you could find her. Even once she was off work, she would come back to visit the staff and residents, still smiling and being as positive as she could be despite her circumstances. We all miss her dearly.
