Kenneth Joseph Dunn

Dunn, Kenneth Joseph – It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Joseph Dunn, at home, on January 1, 2012. Ken was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on February 1, 1931 and was the son of the late John Patrick and Anne Catherine (Fraser) Dunn. He is survived by his brother, Fraser (Eileen), Edmonton, Alberta; his sisters, Audrey Wicks, Waterloo, Ontario; Joyce Bass, Wildwood Crest, New Jersey; Carol Markesino and Beverly Prosser, both of Halifax; as well as 18 nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ken was predeceased by his eldest sister, Eleanor Reglar and by brothers Cyril and John. He was employed by Canada Post for 28 years and retired in 1984. Ken took great pride in his home on Dutch Village Road and was always happiest when the grounds and the house were in top-notch condition. The family will receive friends between 2-4 and 6-8 on Friday, January 6, 2012 in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 7,2012 at 10:30 am in Saint Benedict Church , 45 Radcliffe Dr. Halifax .Fr James Mallon officiating.Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lr.
