Kevin Rex Dean

age 77, son of Enos and Mildred Dean ( St John’s, NL) passed away peacefully on March 29th at Drummond Hall in Halifax. Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Glenys, son Robert and daughter Karen (Bowers) Sisters Sherry (Roestenberg) and Kathy Dean. Predeceased by his Mother and Father and Brother Reginald.

Kevin had a long and successful career with Grant Thornton as a FCA, National Tax Partner and Regional Managing Partner.

Kevin would tell you his real success in life was his Family. In retirement, he could always be found spending time with his granddaughters, Jessica, Jocelyn, Lauren. Kevin also enjoyed surrounding himself with friends and having a great evening with wonderful meal, conversation and of course the occasional glass of Scotch.

Kevin will be forever missed by everyone who had the pleasure of spending time with him.

The family wishes to acknowledge the exceptional care that the staff at Drummond Hall provided to Kevin and support they gave the family during his time with them.

A celebration of life will be held later in the year, as circumstances allow.
