FLEMING, Kevin A.J.F., Cpl (Ret’d), CD1 – of Halifax, N.S., passed over June 30, 2012 suddenly at home. Born in Windsor, Ontario, he was a son of the late Marian Whalen and Joe Fleming. A proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 25 years, Kevin retired in 1995 as a military photographer. Shortly thereafter he began his battle with kidney disease. As a patient of the Home Dialysis Unit, Kevin enjoyed sharing his experiences and knowledge to encourage others needing dialysis.
Survived by Cherry, his wife of 31 years as well as sister, Sharon Brethour; niece Tiffany Guenette, her husband Jamie and daughter Isabelle; brother D’Arcy Fleming; nephew Brian Souchuk and his wife Sharon and sons Carson and Everet, all of Ottawa, and beloved aunt Lucille Rivard.
