Kimberly Maria Caven

Born on August 16, 1970, Kim grew up in Amherst and pursued a career in Education and then Health and Wellness. She met her loving husband, Robert (Rob) Caven, while in Amherst. They were married for 19 years and travelled often, living in British Columbia, Ontario before most recently settling back in Nova Scotia.

Kim is predeceased by her father Alfred (Al) McGregor and survived by her husband, Rob, her son Liam, her mother Elizabeth McGregor and her sister Heather (MacDougall).

Kim was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved spending time with her family and friends where she would literally light up the room everywhere she went. She had a real passion for summertime and the sand and water of a beautiful beach. Her kindness, compassion, and sense of humour will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday, February 15th, at St. Agnes Parish (6903 Mumford Rd, Halifax, NS). A reception to celebrate Kim’s life will follow in the church hall.
