LAURA WINNIFRED O’QUINN, age 93 of Bedford, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the VG Hospital, Halifax. Born in Halifax, May 1, 1924, she was the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Beuree) Gay. Laura was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and was happiest when surrounded by her friends and family. She is survived by 2 daughters, Glenda (Bill) Robar and Donna (Peter) Lutes; 1 son, Wayne (Ann Marie) O’Quinn; 1 sister, Dorothy MacLean; 5 grandchildren, Gary (Jenn), Scott (Julie), Samantha, Bruce and Sarah and 2 great grandchildren, Lilah and Charlie. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Michael; sisters, Mildred and Pauline; brothers, Ralph, Herbert and Charles. Visitation Sunday, February 25 from 2 – 5 pm at JA Snow Funeral Home, Halifax. Funeral Service Monday, February 26 at 11:00 am, JA Snow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
