This is a message for Linda's sister, Susan:
Susan, periodically throughout Linda's illness, we chatted at The Bluenose about how her illness was progressing and how close you both were.  I don't think I've ever heard of a sibling relationship that was so profound.  I know you miss Linda a great deal - more than words could express, no doubt.  But it is a great gift to know that you were her best friend, and that you were by her side in a very loyal way throughout her illness.  My sincere condolences to your family and you.

It saddens me to hear of Linda's passing. I met Linda and Ray in the 90's when I worked with Chris at the Petro-Can on Herring Cove Rd. I worked many days with Chris where, neglecting to bring his lunch, a call home was made and Linda would arrive a short while later with Chris' care package, and usually with a smile.
