Lloyd Carleton Rafuse, 81, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully at the QEII hospital on August 1, 2024. Born in Lunenburg County, Lloyd was a dedicated worker, serving over 25 years at the VG Hospital, where he rose to Head of Maintenance. A skilled carpenter, he contributed his talents to the community and the Nova Scotia International Tattoo.
Lloyd cherished his late wife, Gail, with whom he enjoyed travelling and RV camping. He is now at peace and reunited with her. He has a sister, Cathy, living in England and family in Nova Scotia.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024,10:00 AM at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, followed by a reception.
