

Marg was born in Yarmouth on October 23, 1927, the oldest daughter of the late Leslie and Rose Anne (Boudreau) Hunt.
She is survived by her loving children Janice (Thomas Roos), Marsha (Ralph Single), Kenneth (Donna Whitenect), Kevin (Martha Brown); grandchildren David Tough (Shelly Manuel), Mitchell, Emily, Melissa, Connor (Skyeler), Logan, and Garrett; great-grandchildren Michael Tough, Alexander Manual-Freake and Charlie Henneberry; and sister Donna Behie, Sheet Harbour. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years, Gus Henneberry, by her grandson Trevor Henneberry, and by her sister Beula Bain, Yarmouth.
Marg was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She treasured spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and loved being motherly to all children. She will always be remembered for her hand-knit socks and for her famous homemade brown bread, brown buns and candy bread. She is missed by her family and friends, her nieces and her nephews. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Ketch Harbour and a supporter of St. James United Church, Sambro.
The family is thankful for the care she received at Parkstone Enhanced Care.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Liturgy with reception to follow, will take place on Thursday September 12, 2024 at 2 pm at J A Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS B3S 0E1 (902) 455-0531. A private burial will take place at a future date.
