FUNERAL SERVICE HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret (Peggy, aka "Grandmummy") on March 12, 2015. She passed peacefully at home with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband, Eric Donald, she is survived by her sons Denis (Lois), Prince Edward Island; Bill (Lynn), Riverport; her daughter Sheila, Calgary; her grandchildren Tristan, Lauren, Patrick, Daniel, Maureen, and Emma; and her two furry companions Theodore, and Finnegan. A native of Cork, Ireland Peggy travelled to the USA and Canada in the early fifties to join the love of her life to marry in Montreal. The two adventurous Irishmen discovered the balmy Canadian winters during their time in Alberta, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Never looking back they lived their lives as proud Canadians and blessed their children with the same forward looking mind set. Peggy began her career with Bell Telephone in New York followed by many years as a mother and mentor. Later in life she returned to University at Mount Saint Vincent. Her crowning achievement was as Grandmummy to the grandchildren that loved her from the moment they opened their eyes. Memorial service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM in Saint Benedict Church. In lieu of flowers donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada, or Hope Cottage. Arrangements are in the care of J.A. Snow Funeral Home. I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
