Marion Emma Tarbox

The family of Marion are saddened to announce the passing of their beloved mother. She passed away peacefully February 4, 2017. Born May 7, 1928, in Necum Taugh, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Cyril Harvey and Orpha Naomi (Smith) Hussey.

Marion is predeceased by her husband Roger Vincent; brothers Robert and Earl Hussey and sister Thelma Richards. She is survived by sons Edward (Genny) Hussey, Curtis (Teresa), David (Anna), Robert (Raylene) ; daughters Ellen Boutilier, Brenda (Lee) Kehoe, Nancy (Kenny) Kline, Mary, Peggy, Betty, Fay, Terrie and Tammie; 20 grandchildren;23 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

Marion’s life was her children, and if she got a spare moment her knitting , sewing and a game of cards. Many a time you would visit, just to see if you could beat her at a game of crib.

As her children grew up and moved on, she became a member of the Senior’s club in Timberlea, where she served 2 terms as President. When the club had their yearly craft fair, her craft table was the highlight of their fundraiser.

Marion will be sadly missed by her family and the many friends she made through the years.

Visitation Wednesday February 8, 2017, from 12:30 – 1:30 with service to follow at 2:00 at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Vincent’s Nursing Home. Special thanks to the staff at St. Vincent’s.
