Marjorie Elizabeth Hebb

Hebb, Marjorie Elizabeth, RN - 82 of Halifax. On April 4th, a devoted wife and mother passed into the hands of the lord with a tear in her eye. Marjorie Elizabeth Hebb (Rhodenizer) was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Parkdale, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of Ira Rhodenizer and Ethel Rhodenizer (Wentzel). Marjorie was devoted to helping others and was most proud of her family and her career as a nurse - Graduating in 1951 from nursing school in Yarmouth. She worked in her later years at Fairview Villa (Maplestone) and Camp Hill Veteran's Hospital.

She leaves behind to mourn, her loving husband of 61 years, Gordon Maxwell Hebb, sons Gregory (Wanda) of Bedford, Gary (Deborah) of Ottawa and David (Anne) of Halifax, sisters Lucy Charlebois (Gerry) and Merna Cox (Robert), brothers Blair (Jocelyn), Bob (Marlene), Lonny (Darlene) and grandchildren Daniel Hebb, Ryan Hebb, Jennifer Hebb and Chelsea Hebb. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Lee Rhodenizer.The family would like to thank the staff of St. Vincent's Nursing Home and Abbey J. Lane Hospital Geriatric Ward for their dedicated care and attention. A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church of Parkdale-Maplewood, Wednesday April 10th at 2 pm.
