Mary Sharon Gardiner

Age 60, Prospect Bay, passed away on September 7th, 2017 peacefully at home.

Born on November 2nd, 1956 in Halifax N.S., Sharon was the daughter of Hughes and Dorothy (nee Croken) Corbin.

Sharon was a kind, compassionate and beloved wife, mother and grandmother who loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Sharon loved to travel, taking many trips overseas with her husband David, and enjoyed many camping trips with her friends and family. In the last two years, Sharon enjoyed spending every moment with her two grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her beloved husband David Gardiner, daughters Sara (Matthew) Allain of Shad Bay and Holly (Derek) Minney of Hatchet Lake, grandchildren, Melody Allain and Easton Minney and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.A.Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax N.S.Her funeral will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept 13th, at 10:00am. There will be a reception to follow. Flowers may be sent to J.A. Snow Funeral Home, or in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and/or Breast Cancer Action Nova Scotia (BCANS).
