Michael Purcell Maloney passed away on August 31. Michael was born on August 6, 1967 in Minneapolis, MN. He was predeceased by his father John F Maloney Jr., grandparents, John Maloney Sr. and Rita (Timmons) Maloney and Frank and Nora (Mahoney) Purcell. He is survived by his mother Honore (Purcell) Maloney, of Taos, NM, brother James Maloney of Malden, MA and sister Catherine Maloney (David Kuhn), nephews Ryan, William and Robert Kuhn all of Ladysmith BC. Michael moved with his family to Halifax in 1980 and graduated from Halifax West High School, Dalhousie University and TUNS. He was a member of Phi Kappa Pi Fraternity, class of 1987. A celebration of life will be held on Friday September 9, 6:30 pm at Future Inns, 30 Fairfax Dr. Halifax.
