AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Paul William Colville

24 août , 19532 juin , 2019

It is with fond memories and heavy hearts that we share the passing of a wonderful and caring husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (Henderson) and daughter, Angela (Tim Murphy); brothers, David (Louise), Sandy (Sandra), and sister, Jane. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Miriam (Cameron).

Paul was a very well respected Auto Technician and began his career at Circle City Shell and most recently with O’Regan’s Chevrolet. He was an avid Golf and NASCAR fan and had the opportunity to attend numerous races. He spent many years volunteering with Ringette Nova Scotia. In more recent years he took up a love of playing golf, camping and traveling. Many days were spent with family and friends enjoying the things he loved.

Many thanks to the nurses and staff the VG site, QEII, Palative Care Unit that guided Paul through the last days of his courageous battle with cancer, while maintaining his dignity.

A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., on June 7th at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow. Interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

Sincerest condolences to Paul's Family.
I was fortunate and had the pleasure of working with Paul over the years and enjoyed every minute of it. He was a good guy. That term is often thrown around without much thought, but in Paul's case it was the best way to describe him. When I say good guy, to me, it means someone who is kind and considerate to others, puts family above all else, works hard and takes pride in what he does and was always fun to be around. Paul was all of these things and much more. A good guy who will be missed.

I will always have fond memories of my Uncle Paul. When I was a child he always had time to make me laugh and smile. I still remember when his brand new Pontiac Phoenix was about to be delivered to him and how excited he was to have a car of the future. When I was a little older he was always willing to help me with the problems I had with my less then modern cars. My thoughts and condolences to Paul’s immediate family. Jason Colville
