Paul Donaldson Macrae

MacRae, Paul Donaldson, of Halifax, born April 30, 1942, passed away on May 23, 2021. Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Marjorie May (Donaldson) MacRae. He attended schools in Halifax and became an entrepreneur, owning his own business and real estate for over thirty seven years. He enjoyed his time spent travelling, but also appreciated the little things life had to offer. His fondness for classic country music and classic black & white movies will not be forgotten. Paul was a man who loved his extended family. He is survived by his nephews Mark (Justyna) in Warsaw, Poland and Christopher (Alison) in Bedford, NS. He is also survived by his grand-nieces Krystyna, Anna, Caitlin, Sophie and Emily in Poland, and Lauren and Abbey in Bedford. He was predeceased by his brother Ian and sister-in-law Angela of Beaverbank, NS. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or church service. A graveside memorial service with family members only will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
