Peter Oleschuk

Dad was born in Sydney, NS in 1934. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Velma, sister, Josie and brother Mike. He is survived by his daughter Brenda Hatcher (Tom), sons Robert and Stuart, grandchildren Lindsay, Adrienne, Michael, Isabel, great grandchildren Emily, Claire and Lydia, his niece Irene, nephews Tim and Kelly and his half-brother Walter.

His exceptional career in sales spanned several decades. He and his wife founded and operated Provincial Equipment for over 20 years. He was honoured by the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association for his contributions to the industry.

He was a proud Shriner and Masonic Lodge member.

He enjoyed golfing, skiing, basketball, curling, hockey and judo. He was a philanthropist, giving generously to Nova Scotians and Atlantic Canadians through charitable donations.

He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice are appreciated.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday May 17,at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday May 18 in St. Peter’s, Anglican Church, Birch Cove, Halifax.
