Raymond Arthur Drake

Raymond Arthur Drake, age 53 of Lower Sackville, NS went home to be with the Lord on September 2nd, 2018. Born in Halifax, NS. He is the son of the late Raymond Drake and late Lucy (Vaughan) Drake. Raymond grew up in Riverview, NB and moved to Halifax in his early teens. Raymond was a painter by trade. He love to work and keep himself busy. He enjoyed coffee, cigarette, eating out with his family and friends.

Raymond is survived by his brother Danny (Connie) Drake; sisters Darlene Drake, Cheryl Rushton, Trinda (Gilles) Allard, Karen (Brian) Morgan; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by father, Raymond Drake; mother Lucy Drake; brother, Terry Johnson, Sisters, Heather Drake, Raelenea Stymest.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6th from 6-8 pm & Friday September 7, 2018 from 10-11 am. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 7th 2018 at 11:00am, both to be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS. Pastor Russell Knowles officiating. Reception immediately following service. Burial to take place in Oakridge Memorial Gardens, 1078 Old Sackville Road, Middle Sackville, NS, all are welcome to attend.

The family wishes to thank the incredible staff at Quest Regional Rehabilitation Centre, the Cobequid Emergency Department, and the IMCU Unit Halifax Infirmary for their tender and compassionate care to Raymond and also for your kind sensitivity to our family during the recent loss of our mother and now our brother. Thank you all. Thank-you also to the staff of the Metro Community Living and the doctors and staff of the Heart Function Clinic.
