Born in Rockdale, Richmond County, Cape Breton she was the daughter of Henry and Barbara (Mombourquette) Middleton.
Survived by her Sister Edna (Patrick) Sampson of Halifax, Brother Bernie (Leona) Middleton of Rockdale, Cape Breton and nine nieces and five nephews.
Predeceased by three sisters; Margaret (Mrs. Dan Gillis), Mary Muriel and Cecilia Jane. Four brothers; Charlie, Gerald, Daniel Roy and Joseph Roy in infancy. Two nieces; Marla and Ann Marie Middleton. Two nephews; Dannie Gillis and Kenneth Sampson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Cruikshanks Funeral Home on Windsor Street, Halifax.
Funeral service will be held at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Mumford Road Halifax on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 10am.
