

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Robert (Bob) Joseph Taylor, age 56, on January 28, 2014, at home in Bedford, NS. Born in Halifax, NS, he was a son of Walter and the late Patricia (Boudreau) Taylor. He attended St. Patrick's High School and was employed by Ivanhoe Cambridge (MicMac Mall) for 35 years as Manager of Operations. Bob loved to play and watch sports, especially the Habs, and took great pleasure in coaching his sons and other youth through Bedford Minor Hockey and Baseball. He also enjoyed golf, music, travelling, and painting. He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 28 years, Kathie (Clarke), sons Kyle (Liz), Victoria, BC; and Devin, at home. He will also be dearly missed by brothers, Roy (Leona), Halifax; Ron (Victoria), Toronto; Mike (Doreen), Dartmouth; parents-in-law, Don and Anne Clarke, Bedford; brothers in-law, Craig, Dartmouth; Shawn (Stacey), Fernie, BC; nieces and nephews, as well as a very close group of friends. A special thank you to VON, Palliative Care, QEII Health Sciences Centre, and David Maginley for their care, guidance and support. Visitations will be held in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, (455-0531) on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm; followed by a service of celebration on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Bob had a great fondness for dogs and donations may be made in his memory to the Nova Scotia SPCA or a charity of your choice.
