Ronnie was a devoted husband, the most loving father, a caring son and brother, and a loyal friend. He was also a Charmer with the big brown eyes, the smile and the dry sense of humor, he could charm the birds from the trees.
He was born in Clam Bay to the late Hiram and Nellie (Morash) Webber. He is survived by his wife, Doreen, daughter Rhonda, Sisters Phyllis and Shirley and Brother Harley and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Irma, Nelda and Doris and by Brothers Clifford and Sherman.
Ronnie’s early employment was with his uncle in the construction business and with the Department of Highways. For several years he was a prison guard. In 1970 he turned his hobby of mechanics into a career when he joined the Halifax City Works Department. He retired from the City Field Garage in 1997. He was a typical backyard mechanic who worked on every make and model of cars except Fords. He always said a Ford never really needed repairs. In his spare time, he liked to read, shop for groceries, cook and listen to music; country and gospel being his favorites.
We would like to praise and thank the health care workers we have met. Thanks to our family Doctor Dr. Carey for his care and support over the years. Thanks to the medical teams at the Cobequid Community Care Center and at the QEII Health and Science Center. We have been treated with competence, professionalism and compassion every step of the way.
We give a special thank you to Rev. Laurie Omstead who gave us her time, prayers, love and support as we went through the worst day of our lives.

To the world he was just one man.
To our daughter and to me, he was the world.
