Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Ellen (Ryan) and Jacob Bardsley. He was predeceased by siblings Francis, Edith (Phil) Cole, Gerald (Edna), Audrey, Jack (Jean). He is survived by his sister-in-law Jean Bardsley and several nieces and nephews.
Ducky loved cards, cribbage, gardening and was an avid sports fisherman in his day. He also loved Thursday night pool in Chezzetcook and Jackie’s deep fried clams.
A graveside service will be held, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 10 am at the Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Ducky’s memory to Oceanview Manor.
