In loving memory of Stephen John Morse who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer, liver disease, and mental health complications. Born in Middleton, NS, he was the son of the late Helen Stewart and John Morse. Growing up, he had a love of animals and was a dedicated and talented athlete who played basketball for most of his life. He married the love of his life, the late Patricia Morse in 1981. Their marriage shared their values of family, fun and togetherness, which was instilled in the upbringing of their children. He was a successful salesman for much of his professional career, providing medical equipment to many of the hospitals across Atlantic Canada. To his friends and family, Steve was known for his kindness, fun, and sense of humour. He always had an interest in cars, and eventually motorcycles, which led to countless memorable rides with Tricia and many of his friends. His outdoor barbecuing skills were unmatched, even in the bitter cold.
He is survived by his cherished children, Kelsey Morse (Michael) and Alex Morse (Morgan), grandson Thomas Fileccia as well as his devoted sister, Pam Fairclough (Chris) of Halifax, sister Kathryn Pummel and brother Michael Morse (Nadia) of Ontario, sister-in-law Pamela Sweet Smith and brother-in-law Tony Sweet (Kathi) of Halifax; beloved nieces, Holly Huett (David), Calgary AB, Heather Fairclough (Brian), Alison Sweet, Alexandra Sweet, and nephews Adrian Sweet and Will Smith, all of Halifax. Stephen will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of love will forever remain in our hearts.
